{Thursday Thoughts} Get more entries for your handmade giveaways!

If you host giveaways from Etsy {or handmade} sellers here is a list of email addresses to send info to. They will post your giveaway link and info on their site which will get you more entries/traffic to your blog...and who doesn't want that?!

How to upload your image & get your direct image link using Flickr:

Sign into your Flickr Account {or create one} and click "Upload Photos & Video". If you already have uploaded a photo you can just go to your photo stream, chose the photo you want to use and follow the last 2 steps in this tutorial.

Click "Choose photos and videos" and a window will pop up of your computer files. Select the one you wish to use.

Your file name should be shown. Click "Upload Photos and Videos" to complete the process.

Once your photo has been uploaded, click "add a description" which will bring you to an editing page.

You now have the option to add tags & a description if you'd like. Save when finished or if you are not adding info, just click on the photo.

Here's where you will get the image link. Click on the "Share" button and a drop down menu will come up. Highlight the whole HTML code {since it won't let you highlight just what you need} and paste it in the comment box {you will not be saving your comment, it's just so you can highlight the link you need}.

The highlighted section is your image link. It will start with http:// and end with .jpg. This is what you will need in some of these emails to submit your giveaway.
