I am super excited to tell you about this product that is new and hoping to hit the shelves. It is called Diaper Pods and it all came about by a parent's need for a more convenient method of diaper disposal {don't we all want that?}.
Here's how they work:
It's just like a regular old diaper except {here's the really cool part} there is a little compartment/pod {hence the name} in the rear which holds a scented disposal bag!Check it out:
I think it's a pretty neat idea, don't you? Just change, fold up the dirty diaper, pull out the bag and throw it away!
Now to see how well the bag held up to a stinky diaper I threw in one of Bugs stinkiest ones and threw it in the bathroom garbage which has no cover or anything. Guess what...I didn't even know it was in there. Normally I throw it in a grocery bag and put it outside for hubby to throw in the dumpster {because it will stink up the apartment}. Yup, they are that stinky!
Here's what I think of them overall:
I'm not sure how much they would be in stores but if they were reasonably priced I would use them daily. If they were a bit on the expensive side I would buy a pack to use on the go. I would love them on the go because when I change Bug in public restrooms & throw out her smelly diaper I feel bad that everyone after that who comes in will smell it! I don't carry bags in the diaper bag {but I suppose I should} and even if I did, a grocery bag does not conceal the smell very well.
