Tell us a bit about yourself: 

My name is Jessica, I am married to an amazing man Tony, and I have a 10 month old son who I would do anything for!

What made you want to become an artist? 

I love pretty fabrics and decided I would make some shoes for my nieces. I thought they were pretty cute so kept on making them for other people.

What advice would you give to new artists on Etsy? 

Keep creating, don't give up!

What is the inspiration for your work? 

It started as an idea to make dress up shoes for my 2 year old niece. I wanted to make something beautiful that she would love to dress up in, and then I kept getting more ideas for shoes whenever I saw new and cute fabrics.
 

Do you have a job outside of Etsy? How do you handle both? 

Right now I am on maternity leave so I can focus on my Etsy shop.

Where do you create? 

I have a room set up in my house with my sewing machine. It's nothing special, but I can be home looking after my son and creating at the same time.
