{Toddler Tuesdays} Pine Needle Painting

Pine Needle Painting

There are many different things you can use as a paint brush. Using different textured items helps develop your toddlers textile senses and cognitive development. Give your toddler the pine needle grouping before painting to explore and feel the texture. You can even gently brush your child's arm with the pine needles. Be sure to talk about the way it feels which will also help with language and social development.

Place a sheet of paper down and have a small plate with a couple colors of paint poured out to dip the pine needles. Let your toddler paint away! Bug really enjoyed using the pine needles and I love the way the painting came out! {It looks better in person}

Tickling Bugs Arm...she loved it!

We tape our paper to a cardboard box. No worries about a mess and easy clean up!

Pretty please don't forget to go on over to MelissaAndDoug's Facebook page and "like" them. Then post on their wall "@Tutus & Tea Parties sent me."
(if you do not post on their wall it will not count.)

For every 200 people that post that you were sent from me, Tutus & Tea Parties, they will let me offer a set of sand toys as a giveaway! Woo hoo!

Please share this button on your blog so others can come link up too.
